SUSHISAMBA, Heron Tower

SUSHISAMBA has got to be one of my favorite restaurants I’ve tried so far…

I know, I know I say that about lots of restaurants (I just LOVE eating out!). But not only is the food at Sushisamba an incredible fusion of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian food, the restaurant itself is stunning.

Located on the 38th & 39th of the Heron Tower, the views across the city out of the floor to ceiling windows are amazing. We went early evening and, at sunset, the orange glow through the windows was magical.

The food is incredible. I’m a huge fan of Peruvian food and sushi anyway so to have a fusion was awesome. They have a separate gluten free menu and provided me with my own gluten free soy sauce. They seemed to have a good understanding of dietary requirements.

The food is presented really well too and is really high quality, totally worth the price. The attention to detail is what makes it that little bit more special. For example, our mocktails were presented in these cute coconut cups rather than jut a plain and boring tall glass that lots of places present cocktails in (non-alcohol drinking people want pretty drinks too!).

They have a restaurant in Covent Garden too, I cant wait to try that one out as well. They also have one in Las Vegas - maybe I will get to go there someday too!
