Rizopia Pasta Review


I tend to eat gluten free pasta fairly often as it is an easy mid week supper. So when Rizopia sent me some of their pasta samples, I was looking forward to trying them. I received the pasta elbows and the fettuccine but they have selection of other shapes to choose from.

Rizopia is the pasta winner of Free From Food Awards 2013 and their pasta is organic brown rice pasta that is free from wheat, gluten, egg, milk, nut and corn.
 
It has been NHS approved and is now available on prescription for those who suffer from Coeliac disease.
 

I made a few dinners with it including a lovely carbonara and a Mexican pasta bake (both pictured). I found that it tastes a whole lot nicer and is more substantial than the kind I usually buy in the supermarket.

It doesn't stick together or break up like other gluten free pastas and was easier to cook, which makes such a difference for me.
