Review of Sally's Sizzling Sausages

I was really pleased to receive some gluten free sausage samples from Sally's Sizzling Sausage Co. I love sausages and it is such a shame that most of them have gluten in. I'm always on the look out for more brands and variety.

The website says that their products are made using only the best ingredients and the choicest cuts of British meat. All their sausages have a minimum 95% meat content with the sausage meats containing a minimum 75% meat. Their sausages are available in 9 flavours and sausage meats available in 3 flavours. They also do burgers and lots more.

I was sent some plain pork sausages and some Cumberland ones. We tried them out over a few days with different things. They were delicious, they are very meaty and you could tell that they are good quality. The skins are quite thick so they didn't burst when cooking and the best thing for me was that they didn't have an horrible fatty bits in them like some sausages do.
We tried the plain pork ones as hot dogs with chips and grilled corn on the cob, and in sausage sandwiches for Sunday brunch.  Then we tried the Cumberland ones as sausage and mash - my favourite comfort food. They are gorgeous and herby, great with creamy mash and red onion gravy.

For more information and prices, click here. If you wanted to stock up on them (which I recommend you do) then all their products can be frozen for up to 6 months which is handy.
